Local School Leadership Council
Purpose of Council
The purpose of the Leadership Council shall be to determine and implement school policy pursuant to Article XXVI of the UTLA/LAUSD Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
The function of the council shall be to make decisions in reference to:
- Professional Development, Banked Time
- Student Discipline
- Schedule of School Activities and Events, School Schedules, etc.
- Guidelines for the use of School Equipment
- Budgets (IMA account)
All members of the SLC shall be elected by their respective stakeholder group, and serve a term of service of two years. All terms of service end on September 30.
The Council meets the first Tuesday of every month in the Social Hall @ 3:45 PM
El propósito del Comité de Liderazgo Escolar será de determinar e implementar los reglamentos escolares de acuerdo al artículo XXVI del Contrato Colectivo entre el Sindicato de Maestros (UTLA) y el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Angeles (LAUSD)
La función de este comité será de tomar decisiones referente a:
- Desarrollo Profesional (PD), tiempo acumulado
- Disciplina estudiantil
- Actividades y eventos escolares, horario escolar, etc.
- Reglamento para el uso de equipo y maquinaria escolar
- Ciertos presupuestos escolares como Materiales de Instrucción (IMA)
El comité se reúne el primer martes de cada mes a las 3:45 PM en la biblioteca de la escuela.
