Harmony Project

Los Tigres Cantantes is the premier Vocal Music Ensemble on campus at San Fernando High School! This ensemble is comprised of singers in grades 9-12 with varying levels of musicianship and performance experience! Los Tigres Cantantes is sponsored by the Harmony Project, an amazing non profit organization who provides free music education classes to all San Fernando High School students! Los Tigres Cantantes meets each week from 3:45-5:15 PM on Wednesday’s and Friday’s after school in room 727. The Vocal Music Program accepts singers of all levels who have a passion for music! The singers of Los Tigres Cantantes participate in both on and off campus performances/events including: Winter Concerts, Spring Concerts, Spring Festivals, the Harmony Project annual Donor Concert and Gala Performance, Guest Clinician Visits/Exchanges, Fall and Spring Choir Retreats, and the End of the Year Banquet Celebration!

2024 Accolades:

  • Silver Ranking at the Forum Music Festival at Hart High School and the Magic Mountain Theme Park

  • Received an Outstanding Musicianship Award at the Forum Music Festival at Hart High School and the Magic Mountain Theme Park

  • Was featured on LA Unscripted on KTLA News

  • Worked with Grammy Nominated arranger and composer, Dr. Jeremy Fox

  • Participated in the USC Thornton School of Music's Choral Leadership Workshop

  • Featured performers for the Harmony Project's Conductor's Circle at the Beverly Hills Country Club

  • Performed at several events on campus including: Winter and Spring Concerts, the Latin X Festival, The Spring Musicale, Graduation, and many more!
