Health Occupations Academy

The Health Occupations Academy (HOA) offers a comprehensive curriculum to enhance students' knowledge of medical sciences and various allied health careers. The program emphasizes theoretical and practical learning, allowing students to earn dual enrollment college credits at Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) towards certification in medical assistant, certified nurse assistant, phlebotomist, EKG Technician, and other related fields. As part of the CTE Patient Care Pathway, students will receive CPR and First Aid certification during their senior year and become advocates for a healthier community by promoting wellness amongst their peers.
