Established in 1896, San Fernando High School holds a storied place in the history of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Initially located on Fifth and Hager streets in the City of San Fernando, the school underwent significant changes, moving to the North Brand Blvd. campus in 1906, now home to San Fernando Middle School. In 1952, San Fernando High School finally settled at its present site, becoming one of the oldest high schools in the district.
