College Classes
Here at SFHS we offer college classes (taught by professors/instructors from Mission College) after school so students can earn college units while they are still in high school! The classes are free, however students are responsible for purchasing or providing their own textbook and materials for the class.
Spring 2024
- Political Science 001 (Mondays/Wednesdays 3:45-5:30pm) 02/05/24-06/03/24
- HEALTH OCCUPATIONS 063 (During School)
To apply for the college classes:
Fill out an ONLINE application for Mission College - http://www.lamission.edu/Dual-Enrollment/Apply-for-Dual-Enrollment.aspx
You must fill out the online application in order to take college classes!
Instructions on filling out the online application:
- Select "Los Angeles Mission College" from the drop-down menu, click apply.
- Click "apply online" button at the top of the page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “begin application".
- Click on “create an account” and fill in the information to create a user account or sign in if you have an existing account.
- Answer all 9 pages on the Application and submit.
- 2-3 days later you will receive an email with your Student ID#.
- Once you have your student ID # come to the College Center to pick up the enrollment forms (K-12 form, Directory Card).
