  • Bachus and Schanker Scholarship - Awards $2000; must be a high school senior attending a four year university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above; must write an essay of no fewer than 800 words about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life. Consideration for the entirety of the Amendment (rather than the well-known nutshell explanation of the right to trial by jury) is encouraged. DECEMBER
  • Ron Brown Scholarship Program - Must be Black/African American; must excel academically; must exhibit exceptional leadership potential; must participate in community service activities; demonstrate financial need; be a US citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card; be a current high school senior at the time of your application.  NOTE: Current college students are not eligible to apply.   • Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Teachers - Must be a high school senior planning to enroll in 2yr/4yr college; plan to pursue a career in teaching Physics at the high school level; must be a U.S. citizen.   • Look Twice, Save a Life Scholarship - Must be a attending a 2yr/4yr college next year; must have a valid Driver's License; create a form of social awareness that inspires other students to focus on Looking Twice for Motorcycle Safety.   • Stephen J. JANUARY
  • GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program -  Must demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship; demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent); be citizens of the United States of America; be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year; awards $40,000 (DEADLINE - TBD) Visit www.reaganfoundation.org/education/scholarship-programs/ge-reagan-foundation-scholarship-program/

  • McDonald's HACER Scholarship - Awards up to $100,000; must be a high school senior, legal U.S. resident, younger than 21 years old, carry a minimum 3.0 GPA, eligible to attend a two- or four-year college or university with a full-time course of study, enroll and attend an accredited institution in the academic year after your selection (verification needed, as scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools) and have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.   • Cobell Scholarship - Administered by Indigenous Education Inc., this scholarship for the academic year 2019-20 is awarded to tribally enrolled American Indian and Alaska Native students. Students must have a competitive GPA and plan to attend college full time at a public or private nonprofit institution.
